The SILENTIUM acoustic element from Brumberg has been specially developed for the LED pendant ring light BIRO40. With a diameter of 111.8 cm and a height of 2.4 cm, it fits perfectly into the pendant light with a diameter of 120 cm and a height of 3.5 cm. This smooth, round element significantly improves room acoustics by absorbing disturbing noises and reducing reverberation. This creates a more pleasant sound environment, which especially enhances speech clarity during conversations and presentations.

Technical Features Simply Explained

The acoustic element is made from sustainable PET plastic, which consists of approximately 80% recycled material. With a sound absorption coefficient (aw) of 0.70 and an NRC value of 0.85, it offers high sound insulation. These values indicate how well the element captures sound waves, thereby effectively reducing noise levels in a room. The surface is smoothly finished, which is not only visually appealing but also facilitates easy cleaning.

Safety and Quality According to the Highest Standards

The SILENTIUM acoustic element meets the strict requirements of fire protection class B – s1, d0 according to the BS EN 13501.1 standard. This means the material is difficult to ignite and produces only little smoke and no flaming droplets in the event of a fire. Additionally, the product has undergone a color fastness test according to ISO 105 B02 and achieved a high color fastness rating of 6-7, ensuring long-lasting color quality.
