Innovative Acoustic Element for BIRO40 Pendant Light

The SILENTIUM acoustic element has been specially developed for the LED pendant ring light BIRO40 with a diameter of 120 cm and a height of 5 cm. Featuring a smooth, round design and a diameter of 106 cm, the element integrates harmoniously into the lighting concept. As an insert element, it specifically improves room acoustics by reducing disturbing noises and optimizing sound quality.

Improved Room Acoustics and Communication

The acoustic element ensures a noticeable improvement in acoustic clarity during conversations and presentations. It effectively absorbs disruptive background noise and reduces reverberation, enhancing concentration and performance of room users. This also increases overall well-being, which is highly advantageous in many situations.

Sustainable and High-Quality Materials

The acoustic element is made from approximately 80% recycled PET plastic, guaranteeing sustainable production. Despite the environmentally friendly materials, the product impresses with its high quality and durability. The smooth surface is colorfast tested according to ISO 105 B02 with a rating of 6-7, ensuring that the colors remain intense and stable over a long period.

Effective Sound Insulation and Safety

The SILENTIUM acoustic element offers excellent sound insulation with a sound absorption value (aw) of 0.70 and an NRC value of 0.85. These values demonstrate how well the product absorbs sound, thereby contributing to improved room acoustics. Additionally, it meets fire protection class B - s1, d0 according to BS EN 13501.1, providing extra safety in use.

Versatile Applications and Compatibility

The acoustic element is available in various colors and can be optimally combined with the matching BIRO40 pendant lights. As an accessory to the lights, it is easy to integrate and expands the functionality of the lighting through the additional acoustic component.
