This insert element significantly contributes to optimizing acoustic intelligibility in conversations and presentations. By targeted absorption of disturbing noises and reverberation, it creates a more pleasant sound environment, which greatly facilitates communication in many situations.

Design and Material Quality

The acoustic element impresses with its round shape, having a diameter of 89 cm and a height of 2.4 cm, as well as a textured surface that is not only functional but also visually appealing. The product is made from sustainable PET plastic, with around 80% of the material consisting of recycled PET. This environmentally friendly manufacturing demonstrates Brumberg's commitment to sustainable solutions.

Technical Features Simply Explained

With a sound insulation rating of aw = 0.70 (MH) and an NRC value of 0.85, the acoustic element offers excellent sound absorption. This means it absorbs up to 85% of the incident sound energy, significantly reducing reverberation in the room. Additionally, it meets fire protection class B - s1, d0 according to standard EN 13501.1, ensuring high safety in case of fire. The color fastness test according to ISO 105 B02 with a rating of 6-7 guarantees that the colors remain intact for a long time and do not fade.

It is available as an accessory, with the luminaire itself not included in the delivery.
