The Outdoor NV-Downlight OGDAN MR16 impresses with its classic round design, featuring a diameter of 8 cm and a height of 8.7 cm. The luminaire is finished in glossy white and made from robust metal casting combined with a textured frosted glass diffuser, which provides a pleasant, soft area light. This high-quality material combination guarantees a durable and stable construction that meets even demanding requirements.

Versatile Installation Options and Easy Mounting

The recessed luminaire is specially designed for ceiling installation and fits standard drill holes with a diameter of 68 mm. Thanks to the supplied clip springs, mounting is uncomplicated and secure. For larger drill holes, optional reducing rings are available, allowing flexible adaptation to existing installation situations. The installation depth is 8 cm, with a maximum material thickness for mounting not exceeding 1.3 cm.

Individual Light Design with Low-Voltage Technology

The downlight features a GX5.3 socket that can be individually equipped with an MR16 low-voltage reflector lamp. This flexibility allows the luminaire to be customized in terms of power consumption, brightness, light color, and color rendering according to personal needs. Additionally, the luminaire is compatible with dimmable lamps, enabling easy adjustment of the lighting atmosphere. The operating voltage is 12 volts, ensuring safe and energy-efficient use.

Protection and Functionality through IP65 Certification

The OGDAN NV-Downlight is protected according to IP65, which guarantees high protection against dust and moisture. This protection class makes the luminaire particularly resistant to external influences and ensures reliable operation over long periods. The luminaire is equipped with a terminal block for mains connection, allowing a safe and simple electrical connection. With a weight of only 104 grams, the luminaire is also very lightweight.

Accessories and Expansion Options

The scope of delivery includes the socket, a diffuser, and clip springs, making the luminaire ready for immediate use. Mounting rings and LED modules are available separately, offering additional customization options. Furthermore, the Brumberg brand offers various versions of the OGDAN series, including switchable and dimmable versions with integrated LED lamps as well as mains voltage versions with GU10 sockets for operation at 230 volts. This allows the downlight to be optimally adapted to different lighting requirements.
