Elegant Design and High-Quality Materials

The outdoor HV recessed downlight OGDAN from Brumberg impresses with its timeless and understated design in matte nickel. The round shape with a diameter of 8.2 cm blends discreetly into any ceiling. Made from robust die-cast metal and equipped with a textured frosted glass diffuser, the light provides a pleasant, soft area illumination. This combination guarantees durability and a high-quality appearance that excels in many applications.

Technical Details and Easy Installation

The downlight is suitable for installation in ceilings with a maximum material thickness of 1.3 cm and requires a mounting hole with a diameter of 6.8 cm. The installation depth is 12.5 cm, allowing the luminaire to be installed especially flat and unobtrusive. For easy mounting, spring clips and a GU10 socket are already included in the delivery. Power supply is via a terminal with 230V~ operating voltage and a mains frequency of 50-60 Hz.

Flexible Bulb Choice and Dimmability

The OGDAN downlight is equipped with a GU10 socket and supports high-voltage bulbs with a maximum power of 10 watts. You can decide which bulb you want to use – whether PAR16 or QPAR51 reflector lamps. This way, you determine consumption, brightness, light color, color rendering, and light character individually according to your needs. With the appropriate accessories, dimmable bulbs can be used, providing comfortable light control and energy efficiency.

Protection Class and Protection Rating for High Safety

With protection class 2 and IP65 protection rating, the downlight is protected against dust and water jets from any angle. The high protection rating ensures that the luminaire operates reliably even in demanding environments, without dirt or moisture affecting the technology. This guarantees a long service life and safe use.

Versatile Applications and Accessories

The OGDAN is versatile and suitable as a ceiling spotlight, accent light, or object illumination. Thanks to the standardized size for 68 mm drill holes, it is particularly flexible and can be easily installed in existing openings. Various reducing rings are available for larger drill holes. The combination of high quality, easy installation, and variable bulb choice makes the Brumberg downlight an excellent choice for many lighting concepts.
