The façade spotlight ACHERNAR DOWN impresses with its durable and robust design made of die-cast aluminum combined with a protective glass cover. With its compact dimensions of 6.3 cm diameter and 10.8 cm height, it blends unobtrusively and elegantly into any wall. The sturdy construction guarantees high resistance to weather influences, making it a reliable solution for a variety of lighting tasks.

Technical Details and Protection Class

This spotlight is equipped with protection class IP65, which means it is protected against dust and water jets from all directions. The operating voltage is 220-240 volts with a mains frequency of 50-60 Hz, allowing direct connection to the power grid. Protection class 1 provides additional safety, while the ambient temperature range from -20 to +50 degrees Celsius allows flexible use in various climate zones.

Flexibility in Lighting Design

The façade spotlight is designed for a single GU10 reflector lamp holder, which can be operated with a maximum of 50 watts. The choice of light bulb is left to the user, allowing consumption, light character, color temperature, and beam angle to be individually adjusted. Furthermore, the spotlight is compatible with dimmable bulbs, enabling atmospheric and flexible lighting. Particularly insect-friendly bulbs with low blue light content, such as ultra warm white gold light, can also be used.

Practical Application and Versatility

The ACHERNAR DOWN is ideal as accent lighting and façade spotlight to specifically illuminate walls, walls, entrance areas, or pathways. The fixed optics ensure one-sided downward light emission, allowing clear and directed light accents to be set. This not only improves visibility but also creates an attractive atmosphere. In addition, the product is available in different housing colors to perfectly adapt to the respective environment.

Easy Installation and Accessories

The spotlight is mounted via a clamp at the mains connection, which ensures a secure and quick connection to the 230-volt power supply. The scope of delivery includes both the GU10 socket and the glass cover, so no additional components are required. The low weight of only 0.386 kg facilitates handling during installation. With the option to also purchase the spotlight in a variant with two-sided light emission (UP & DOWN), Deko-Light offers a flexible solution for individual lighting requirements.
